If you don’t know exactly what level of French you have, no worries : the first French Rendez-vous will consist in identifying your strengths and weaknesses precisely, in order to establish a program that fits you.
Raphaëlle lives in Alsace, surrounded by vineyards and traditional houses. She enjoys looking after young children, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family. She is interested in sociology and, above all, language teaching!
By studying sociology and education sciences, she has deepened her understanding of societies and cultures, the analysis of social behaviors and interactions, major educational trends, and child psychology. Consequently, she enjoys teaching the French language-and-culture to both adults and children.
Sarah lives in Savoie, at the foot of the Alps, with its cheese specialties! She likes pastry, walks and hikes, to play the flute and the piano, to study ancient Greek and Hebrew texts, and of course to teach French and share French culture.
She studied the amount of mechanisms we implement just by speaking, without even being aware of it. To speak fluently, we need to acquire more and more of these linguistic automatisms, in order to concentrate fully on the communication situation and on the meaning of what we want to say.
Wanting to apply linguistics to teaching, she deeply focused on ways to enhance unknown vocabulary understanding and reading comprehension, using the language’s morphology (roots, prefixes, suffixes, etc.). She found promising results with learners.
